  I went to this masjid for iftar after calling to check if iftar dinner is served. The brother who answered asked me what I was talking about and that I must be confused. Since he seemed combative and I am fasting, I decided to attend with my family. I went to the ladies section where no lights were turned on. All of the women (2) were in the basement eating donuts with the children. The prayer was started late and I had to ask a brother to open the door since the ladies section was locked. It is my understanding that iftar is a meal eaten after fasting, but the brother who answers the phone insisted it is only a date to break the fast. I have been Muslim for 25 years and never experienced anything as horrible as this in all of the masjids or Muslim gatherings I attended. It is no wonder why the non-Muslims see of our ummah as a problem because this masjid is symptomatic of the arrogant cultural His-lam that is pervasive and resistent to improvement and suggestions by attendees. The brother who answers the phone would have scared me from this faith had I not known that this is NOT representative of Islam.

  Conveniently located minutes from I-95, take the Konterra exit of I-95. I go to pray here when I am traveling between Baltimore and D.C. Lots of parking. Prayer and wudu areas very clean.
